US WWII Victory Pin-This is known as a sweetheart pin. This was a popular way to celebrate victory! This is a bakelite V, in the colors of red white and blue. Over the top of the multicolored V is the word mother in twisted wire. There is a functioning pinback on the reverse. These were given to the moms of active duty soldiers. Some of these included a dangling star to representing a child in service, though this one did not have a star. This is in very good condition.
