Veteran Bring Back German WWII Luftwaffe Sports Insignia-This was removed from a Luftwaffe sports shirt. It is the large format Luftwaffe eagle that would have been sewn onto a shirt during a sporting event. This is BeVo woven with good details. The white of the triangle does show some moderate age toning, and several holes. There is a significant moth hole to the right of the eagle’s beak, you can see the black thread showing through the hole in the photos. I think this patch a great vintage look. A good looking, slightly salty example. We were lucky enough to purchase this directly from the family of the US veteran who brought this home, we will supply the name of this soldier to the buyer.
