Veteran Bring Back German WWII Rural Police Gendarmerie NCO Shoulder Boards-This is an excellent set of rural police slip on shoulder boards. These boards are for NCO (Rank of Meister)-Desirable example with a brown and silver tress braid, with orange piping for field police. This would have been for the rank of Meister which would have been the highest level of the enlisted men in the Gendarmerie or Field Police. He would have been the equivalent to the senior watch master. These come complete with the two silver aluminum pebbled buttons. This set was purchased directly from the family of the US veteran who brought this home, we will supply the name of this soldier to the buyer.
