WWII German “Wehrwettkämpfe der SA-Gruppe Niederrhein 1939” (Bakelite), RZM & Maker Marked Shield shaped “tinnie” made of white bakelite (plastic) with the common SA Sports Badge motif (circular oak leaf wreath with swastika and upraised sword). These are painted gold. Below this imagery is the event info, in Fraktur (Gothic) letters: “Military Tournaments of the SA-Group Niederrhein 1939”. The white plastic is in good condition, with no yellowing, though the gold leaf paint has faded a bit on the insignia and inscription. The reverse has the horizontal pin which has some light oxidation to the metal. The plastic is molded with the maker “Richard Sieper & Söhne Lüdenscheid” along with the RZM mark and code “M 9 / 25”.
