Wir danken unserm Führer Bodenbach 1938 Tinnie-This tinnie is a commemorative badge from the Sudetenland annexation. The German inscription "Wir danken unserm Führer" (We thank our Führer) was used in propaganda celebrating Germany's occupation of Czechoslovakia in October 1938. Following the Munich Agreement, German troops occupied the Sudetenland. Bodenbach (now Děčín, Czech Republic) was a city located in this annexed territory. This is made out of stamped copper. It shows excellent details. This tinnie measures 40mm and sits on a stick pin that is not knurled. We rarely see tinnies made out of copper. This tinnie would look great with your Czech annexation award, or the postcards that celebrate the same. This would make for a very interesting display.
