WWI German Model 1916 Combat Helmet-This is a nice looking example with its original field grey finish remaining partially intact. There are no major dings or dents in the shell. There looks to be remnants of some sort of black finish at the front, not sure what it is but it is interesting for sure! The original three pad, brown leather liner is present and in good condition with minor wear and a few tears. Also present is the steel liner band. The side of the interior is stamped Si 62 indicating production by Eisenhüttenwerk Schlesien of Paruschowitz, Oberschlesien in the size of 62. A good example and these are getting hard to find!
