WWII German Army Model 1942 HBT Combat Tunic-This is another salty combat veteran for sure. There is a lot of wear, discoloration and staining to the jacket. It looks like the veteran who brought it home removed the insignia and used it as a shop coat as there is a ton of wear in the neck and paint splatters here and there. I love it! There is a six button closure and all buttons are field grey finished pebbled metal There are four patch pockets with scalloped flaps. This is set up for slip on boards but none are included. You can very clearly see where the triangular breast eagle resided. The interior is unlined and there is a single bandage pocket on the lower right. There are straps for belt hooks which are included. There is a light ink stamp on the left side. This is a size medium. Restore or keep as is, you decide!
