WWII German Army Model 1942 Single Decal Combat Helmet-This great example has a field gray combat finish that remains 85% intact, very nice. There is an army decal on the left side that checks in at 85% as well. The brown leather liner was treated at some point and it is very dark. It has minor wear only and is fairly soft. There is a zinc liner band and a drawstring. The liner is a size 56. The liner band is maker marked and dated 1940. The side of the interior is stamped ET 64 indicating production by Eisenhuttenwerke in the size of 64. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number 2464. There is a partial chinstrap as well. Very nice!
