WWII German Army Model 1942 Single Decal Helmet-This combat helmet has a rough texture field grey exterior finish that remains mostly intact. The army decal checks in at 65% intact. Inside is a different story, as the liner is heavily discolored, damaged and torn with moderate corrosion seen inside the dome. There is a drawstring and a zinc liner band. The side of the interior is stamped EF 66 indicating production by Emaillerwerke of Fulda in the size of 66. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number 1225. There is a brown leather chinstrap that is maker marked and dated 1942. A great looker for display!
