WWII German Army Model 1942 Single Decal, Originally No Decal, Combat Helmet-Yes, this is a late war example that did not originally have a decal. At some point, an original army decal was added and it remains mostly intact, as does the rough texture, field gray combat finish. The interior is in great condition as well, remaining very clean with minor scuffing around the lower edge of the tan leather, size stamped 54 liner. There is a drawstring and a zinc liner band that is maker marked and dated 1944. The rear skirt is stamped EF 62 indicating production by Emaillerwerke of Fulda in the size of 62. The rear skirt is also stamped with the lot number 4573, indicating production some time in 1944. There is an original, black leather chinstrap as well. This is RBNrd. Overall excellent!
