WWII German Army Panzer School Model 1936 Tunic for Officer-This is for a 1st lieutenant who was assigned to an armor (panzer) school. The tunic is produced in a field grey wool. It is extremely clean, with a few very small spots of wear only. There are four pleated pockets with scalloped flaps. There is a six-button closure and all buttons are silver finished pebbled metal. The officer collar tabs have bright silver bullion columns over pink badge cloth. They are neatly hand applied. The sew in shoulder boards are silver flat wire with pink piping. Each has a single pip and the number 3 as well as an “S” cipher. The officer eagle is bright silver bullion with bright silver flat wire highlights over green wool. It is neatly hand applied. The left pocket has loops for a single award with loops for a small medal or ribbon bar above. There are French cuffs. There is pink piping at the closure seam, at the front and lower edge of the collar and at the French cuffs. The interior is fully lined in gray rayon that is in fine condition. Please note that there is some wear around the waist area of the interior. There is a single pocket on the left side and the tailor tag has been removed from the neck area. There is an HBT strap with a plated metal snap clip and a slot for an edged weapon. Great condition!
