WWII German Army Recruiter NCO Waffenrock and Visor Cap Grouping-This is a special set! Starting with the tunic which is produced in an extremely soft, field gray wool. The jacket is very clean with extremely slight discoloration and wear from use. There is an eight button closure and all buttons are silver finished pebbled metal. The closure seam, cuffs, front and lower edge of the dark green badge cloth collar and tail are piped in orange for recruiter personnel. The collar tabs are orange badge cloth with bright silver NCO tresse columns. The front and lower edge of the collar is also lined in silver and NCO tresse. There are sew in shoulder boards of green badge cloth with silver NCO tresse around the entire perimeter. The underside is green and the piping is orange. There are two pips on each, along with the Roman Numeral IV for Wehrkreis 4. The breast eagle is an officer type in bright silver bullion with silver highlights. This is over dark green wool and it is hand applied. There are loops for two different badges on the left side, plus a small ribbon bar above. There is a marksmanship lanyard properly attached to the button under the shoulder board and to one of the closure buttons. The cuffs are green badge cloth. This bright silver NCO tresse around the edge as well as orange piping. The cuff tabs are identical in construction to the collar tabs. The entire interior is lined in green rayon that is in very good condition., with minor wear and a few small holes. There is a pocket on the left side as well as two vertical pockets in the tail. There is a waist belt with a plated metal buckle. There is also some wear and discoloration up at the area of the neck by the collar. This is definitely from use. The tunic is a size medium. The visor cap is also a gem, being produced in very soft wool that is extremely fine. It has minor wear and discoloration only. There is orange piping around the top panel as well as at the upper and lower edges of the dark green badge cloth center band. The insignia is all silver finished aluminum and in great condition. There is a black patent leather chin strap and a very shiny black vulkanfibre visor with minor crazing. The underside is finished in a cream hue with cross hatching. The interior is fully lined in gold rayon. There is a fully intact rhomboid shaped moisture shield. This is marked with maker nomenclature that reads Mutzen-Ritter, Freiberg I Brsg. There is a tan leather sweatband that is in fine condition with minor wear and discoloration from use. The cap is approximately a size 56. An excellent set overall in a very scarce waffenfarbe.
