WWII German Army Riding Breeches-These war time, combat breeches are produced in field grey wool that is near excellent with very minor wear and discoloration from use. There is one very hole on the upper right thigh. These have a grey leather seat that extends all the way down to just above the ankle. The lower legs have a three button (green bakelite) closure. There are slash hip pockets, a watch pocket and a single rear pocket. There is a four button fly (bakelite) with an additional zinc button at the waist. All of the buttons for the suspenders are zinc and in place. There is a cinch strap on the rear with a black finished metal claw buckle. The interior features white heavy duty cloth pocket bags and waist reinforcement. The markings are very bold and easy to read. They include size info, the date (43) and maker info which reads Steinmeyer, Frankfurt a.M. These have a size 34 waist and the legs are 38" in length. A great set!
