WWII German Army Soldbuch-All 24 pages are included except for pages 5 and 6. The condition is good with minor wear and discoloration, a period repair to the binding, a loose section of pages plus a few small tears on a few pages. There are many entries in this soldbuch. It was issued to Gefreiter Gerhard Hühmann. His photo in uniform is correctly stapled to the front cover. He was born on 30.1.1926 and this book was issued on 1 April 1943 at 1./Heer Uffz.-schule Oetenburg. His final assignment was to Grenadier Reserve Battalion 31 and it is dated 1.5.1945, that’s May 1, 1945. Neat! There is an insert page with type written text between page 4 and 7; remember 5 and 6 are missing. It says “certificate of close combat days” an lists two days of close combat. Another interesting entry is that his equipment was issued in April 1945 and even in June of 1945 when he was issued a shovel. There are three medal entries….the black wound badge, EKII and I believe the silver wound badge as well. Despite the condition, this is a true combat soldiers book and is worth researching!
