WWII German Battle Flag as used by the SS, Army or Luftwaffe-This is a great example, measuring 31” x 52” and with the name of the GI who brought it home. It is two sided, with a reverse image on the back side. It is printed and the flag is produced in bunting material. It has minor discoloration and a few small stains but no damage. The hoist end has a reinforcement with a sewn in lanyard that is looped at each corner. The reinforcement is stamped “Kr. FL 80 x 135” followed by the hand written name of the GI, “D. MCLOONE”. The name of the maker is also stamped on the reinforcement. This is a great display size and a very nice flag!
