WWII German Battle Flag for use by the Kriegsmarine-This example measures 56” x 96” and is two sided, with a reverse image on the back side. It is printed and the flag is produced in bunting material. It has minor discoloration and a few small stains and a few very small holes. The hoist end has a reinforcement but no lanyard. It is sewn over for a dowel or pole. It never had a lanyard. It is boldly stamped with the Navy proof followed by Kr. Fl. 150 x 250 and then the name and location of the maker which is Reichenberg, Sidetenland. A unique example!
