WWII German Deutsche Rotes Kreuz Tunic and Breeches-This is for a low ranking member of the German Red Cross (DRK). The tunic is produced in a grey wool that has minor wear and discoloration only. There is a five button closure and all buttons are silver finished pebbled metal. There are four pleated pockets with scalloped flaps. There is a light grey badge cloth collar with lighter grey badge cloth collar tabs. Each is piped in a silver metal twist rope and each has a tombak based red cross. The interior is fully lined in grey cotton and there is a single pocket on the right side. The tunic is a size medium. The breeches are produced in a similar wool in both color and quality. They are very clean and have just minor wear. The lower legs have button closures. There are buttoned hip pockets, a watch fob pocket and a four button fly with a metal hook and loop closure at the waist. There are cinch straps at the hips and a buttoned rear pocket. There are numerous buttons inside for various items and a set of straps for suspenders. The waist is a size 32 and these are 36” in length. A nice set!
