WWII German Large Party Banner Former HJ- This is a large double sided party banner that was formerly a Hitler Youth Flag. You can see the ghosting of the HJ diamond. Where the white stripe was going across the red field they removed that and placed a red section of cloth. Certainly intriguing! It measures 6ft (1.9M) long by approx. 3 ½ 8ft (1.18M) wide. The size is stamped on the top reinforcement and on all four corners. There is a separately applied white disc with a multi-piece swastika. The white of this disc does show some staining on both sides. The soft red bunting of this flag is clean and still a vibrant red, though the edges of the flag show some discoloration and fraying from use. This hoist end of the flag is folded over and reinforced for a lanyard that has steel snap clips on each end. Overall, this flag is in very good condition. It is used, but this gives this banner a nice character to it.
