WWII German Luftwaffe Model 1942 Single Decal Helmet-This combat example has a blue grey, rough texture finish that remains literally 98% intact overall. Excellent! The left side has a Luftwaffe eagle decal that is 85% intact with a beautiful, dark toning. Inside is a brown leather, size 57 liner that is in fantastic condition, remaining soft with little to no visible wear and discoloration. There is a drawstring and a zinc liner band that is maker marked, dated 1942 and size stamped 64/57. The side of the interior is (VERY LIGHTLY) stamped NS 64 indicating production by Nickelwerke of Schwerte in the size of 64. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number 1989. There is a dark brown leather chinstrap that is in great condition as well. This is an excellent example!
