WWII German Military Gas Mask with Canister-This is a nice example that is well marked. The canister has most of the finish intact. It is maker marked and dated 1940. There is no carrying strap but the strap for the spring loaded release is present. The mask itself is in good condition, made of rubber and maker marked “bmw” with the date 1940. The spin on filter is also dated 1940 and maker marked. A very good example overall!
