WWII US Army Officer Great Coat, Veteran Family Purchase-We shall supply the buyer with the name of the veteran who owned this jacket. He was a doctor (dentist). The jacket is issue quality and produced in an olive drab wool that is excellent. There are hip pockets and epaulets at the shoulders. This is double breasted with two rows of three large gilt metal buttons that have the army eagle. The interior is partially lined in golden brown cotton. There is a label inside that indicates this was produced by the South River Coat Co. Inc with a Philadelphia QM and a contract date of 8/11/1940. There are ink stamps at the neck to include the size, 38L. Excellent condition!
