WWII US Army or Marine M1 Named Helmet- This is wonderful helmet with much eye appeal!  We often see the Navy and USMC stencil most of their gear but the army dis as well. We are unsure what branch this may be from. There is a stenciled name to the front of the helmet… C.H.T. C. H. Temple. The helmet still retains much of its original OD paint. It is a front seam and fixed bale with a heat number of 161putting this helmet at a first half of 1942 production. There is one stress crack on the front of helmet. The chin straps are intact with brass hardware. On the side there is some faded red paint.  The helmet is adorned with a helmet net that looks to of been dyed or painted black.  The liner is manufactured by Inland.  It has its original OD paint and missing the nape strap. It shows some use but in very good condition. We will call this a mid war production liner based on the components. The chin strap is marked United Carr on the rivet.  This near excellent helmet is a great piece to add to the collection!
