WWII US “Ike” Jacket for 26th Infantry Division Tech Sargeant-This also comes with a very nice side cap that is piped in blue for infantry personnel. This dual unit example is in fine condition overall. It is produced in a greenish shade of olive drab. It has a four button closure and all buttons are brown bakelite. There are pleated breast pockets with scalloped flaps. The left sleeve has a tech sergeant chevron and also a unit patch for the 26th Infantry Division, the Yankee Division. The left sleeve also has five stripe devices for 2 1/2 years of overseas service. The right sleeve has a U.S. Army ETO Advance, known as ADSEC (Advance Section of the Communications Zone) plus another rank chevron. There is a “Ruptured Duck” patch above the right breast pocket. There are no collar discs but you can see where they once resided. The interior is fully lined in khaki cotton. There is a pocket on each side. The right side has a tailor tag with the date July 26, 1944. The tailor is Ripley Manufacturing Co. and the size is 36R. There is a size tag in the neck as well. Great condition!
